The Sculptural Rallye-F is an exploration of the relief pattern of racing and conventional tires, where with the help of a laser sensor and rotary motor with speed regulation, you can hear how the tire sounds according to its depth and the structure of the relief pattern. A sound composition where a specific depth has a specific tone encoded with a relief sensitivity up to 3 mm. The depth is supported with engraved graphics, which are transferred on directly from the author´s journals, where he kept records of daily events during the process of creating sculptural Rallye-F. The main idea for this project comes from nowadays mass arrival of electric cars and the fascination of the phenomenon where from a safety point of view for pedestrians and road users some brands began to implement fake combustion engine sounds to these cars.
The project is a collaboration with IT specialist Martin Štefaňák.
